Most cross-cultural friction is a style mismatch, not a conflict
A tone that is completely normal in one work culture can land as blunt or even rude in another. Nobody intended harm, but if it is not named, it can quietly damage trust.
Name the gap rather than let it sit
“I think that came across differently than I meant, let me try again.” Naming the mismatch directly resolves it faster than either ignoring it or over-apologizing for it.
Check understanding instead of assuming it
“Can I check we are reading that the same way?” This small check catches a misunderstanding while it is still cheap to fix, before it turns into a bigger disagreement later.
